Since our establishment in 1995, Breaking Barriers has been dedicated to providing quality education to students from all over the world. We started as a small language school in downtown Tokyo, and have since expanded to offer a wide range of programs in various fields. About Our Material

The Breaking Barriers Academy curriculum is a ten-module Christian educational program offered both virtually and in-person, grounded in sound theological doctrine and hermeneutically correct interpretation of Scripture. Each module is designed to guide participants through a transformative journey spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally by addressing the barriers that hinder purpose, growth, and deeper understanding of God’s Word. Through biblical principles, Spirit-led insights, and practical application, our material empowers believers to rightly divide the Word of Truth, overcome spiritual strongholds, and walk in renewed clarity and boldness. This is more than education it is formation for Kingdom impact.

Meet the Founders & Presidents

Apostles Jordan and Lutriana Jerrferson, founders and Presidents of Breaking Barriers Academy, are seasoned theological educators and ministry leaders with a deep, unwavering passion for the Word of God. Now based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, they bring decades of combined experience in seminary leadership, biblical instruction, and Christian formation.

Both hold earned Doctorates in Theology and have faithfully led institutions dedicated to sound doctrine and the spiritual growth of believers. Their apostolic calling is marked by a commitment to breaking strongholds through truth, empowering the Body of Christ through education that is both biblically grounded and Spirit-led.

With a shared love for Scripture and a heart to see lives transformed, the Jerrfersons have cultivated a learning environment at Breaking Barriers Academy that emphasizes hermeneutical integrity, personal development, and ministry readiness. Their leadership reflects a unique blend of academic excellence, pastoral care, and apostolic authority.
